On the occasion of Christmas and New Year's Day, a group of young people from the town of Al-Mazina in the western countryside of Homs organized this evening (Noel's Fifth Carnival) for the fifth year in a row.
The carnival toured the neighborhoods of the town with the participation of a large number of volunteers who wore the clothes of Santa Claus, which loved the hearts of children, and in the midst of a popular presence, spreading joy and joy in the hearts of the people through Christmas performances and melodies and the distribution of gifts to children.
Young Hani Abboud, one of the carnival organizers, indicated that the event, which is organized for the fifth year in a row, aims to bring joy and pleasure into the hearts of people, in addition to embodying the idea of giving free of charge, and for children to feel the interest, love and giving, explaining that during the carnival, volunteers who embody a personality were adhered to wearing masks (Santa Claus) and attach every gift given to children with a muzzle, in order to encourage everyone to adhere to the measures to prevent corona virus.
For his part, young Roni Al-Shami, one of the organizers of the carnival, stated that the carnival organized by the youth of the town of Al-Mazinah for the fifth year in a row, during which about a thousand and five hundred gifts were distributed to children of all ages, stressing that the event aims to draw a smile on the faces of children and spread joy and love among people during the holidays.
A number of young volunteers participating in the carnival expressed their happiness with this event, expressing their hopes for the new year that peace would prevail in Syria.
