The spokeswoman for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, Sima Sadat Lari, announced the registration of 6,178 new infections and 152 new deaths from the Coronavirus in the country during the past twenty-four hours.
Fars News Agency quoted Sadat Lari as saying in her daily press statement: "The total number of people infected with Corona in Iran has risen to one million and 183 thousand and 182 people, including 5371 in critical condition, while the total number of deaths reached 54,308 people."
"The number of people recovering from the epidemic has reached 924,685 people so far," added Sadat Lari, noting that 7 million and 253 thousand and 750 tests have been conducted to detect infection with the Coronavirus.
