Turkish political analysts confirmed that the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has turned his country's embassies and consulates scattered around the world into branches of the intelligence services with the aim of spying on his opponents and pursuing them abroad.

The Turkish Zaman newspaper quoted Turkish political analyst Ishak Cevdat Kamel as saying in a press statement: “Erdogan has been working for more than 5 years to silence and suppress dissidents internally and externally through a politicized judiciary that serves his goals.”

Kamel referred to the random detention campaigns carried out by the Turkish regime authorities continuously under the pretext of the coup attempt that took place in 2016, indicating that 100,000 Turks are in prison without any legal basis or evidence against them.

Kamel stressed that the practices of repression and prosecution of those who oppose Erdogan and those who dare to criticize him, in addition to the widespread arrest campaigns, have prompted many Turks to flee from his oppression and seek asylum in European countries.

In turn, Turkish political analyst Turgutoglu confirmed that Erdogan has employed individuals and consulates in order to spy and track his opponents abroad, explaining that this comes at a time when the Turkish regime suffers from suffocating political and economic crises due to the policies it follows.

To this, political analyst Hamid Beylıçi indicated that Erdogan has turned Turkey into a "party state", using government institutions to serve him and his party.

Critics and opponents of Erdogan's policies have faced espionage, death threats and kidnapping since 2014, but the failed coup attempt against him in July 2016 has become a permanent pretext for the Turkish regime to liquidate its opponents.

And the espionage operations carried out by the Turkish regime's intelligence services in many western countries, headed by Germany, have become known and raise fears and concerns in those countries, as there have been more and more voices in recent times calling for an end to Erdogan's indirect interference through the pressures he exerts on the Turkish community and his exploitation of religious institutions in order to achieve his ambitions. And go after his opponents.
