About a thousand people attended a party today (Friday) in the Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv, many of them not wearing masks or maintaining social distance.
The party was preceded by gatherings of a similar nature in various points in the city, including Rabin Square.
The event was held as part of the one-off cycling venture FIT TLV, which has been doing so for several weeks, and held the event during the day leading up to the closure.
In the documentation of the event that was distributed on social networks, the riders are seen dancing densely at various sites in the city, moving between them on bicycles and other riding vehicles such as a scooter and skateboard.
"I was at an event with my sister and friends and also at another event that was two months ago," he told Walla!
NEWS Oren Lev, participant in the event.
"It's something liberating like that, I don't get to do anything more with other people, especially not strangers," he said.

FIT TLV responded: "PIT works for a greener future and promotes the values of sustainability, physical and mental health, and accessibility in the city of Tel Aviv and around the world."
According to the organizers, "For three months now we have been encouraging the residents of the city by riding in the sun, this is definitely growing. At the end of the rides we reach the park, and from there we disperse to the houses."
