Dozens of Palestinians were injured this evening as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of the weekly anti-settlement demonstration in the town of Kafr Qaddum, which demands the opening of the village street, which has been closed for 17 years, east of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
The Coordinator of the Popular Resistance in Kafr Qaddum, Murad Shteiwi, stated in a statement to Wafa that the occupation forces stormed the town and attacked the participants in the demonstration with bullets and poison gas canisters, which resulted in the injury of two of them, and dozens of suffocation cases.
The ongoing demonstrations against the occupation that Kafr Qaddum is taking place on Friday and Saturday have become part of public life in the town, whose lands are devoured by the Apartheid Wall and settlement.
