Morocco, home to North Africa's largest Jewish community with some 3,000 people, became the fourth Arab country to announce normalization of relations with the Hebrew state this year, after the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and the Sudan.

About 700,000 Jews of Moroccan origin live in Israel.
