The president of Colombia, Iván Duque, distances himself from the position of former president Álvaro Uribe, who advocates the repeal of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP).
Duque considers that this discussion is unnecessary and unproductive.
The problem, he says, is not that it exists or not, but that it exists for what it should exist and explains in an interview with Fernando del Rincón how the JEP has failed.
