Tunisia - SANA
Tunisian President Kais Said announced the extension of the state of emergency in the country for a period of six months to ensure security and stability and confront terrorism.
According to the Tunis Africa Wat news agency, the decision to extend the state of emergency over all Tunisian territory for a period of six months, from tomorrow, December 26, until June 23, came under a presidential order.
The Tunisian presidency imposed a state of emergency in November 2015, as a result of a suicide terrorist bombing of a Presidential Guard bus in the center of the capital Tunis, killing and wounding a number of them, and the terrorist organization "ISIS" claimed responsibility for the attack.
