An American girl from Kansas broke the world record for elk hunting, after hunting a white-tailed Freddie elk with horns with a total size of about 690 centimeters (271.5 inches).
Pasley Worth (14) hunted the deer on September 6 this year, just one day after the start of the country’s hunting season.
Pasley said: "On the first day we went hunting in our area we did not see any deer. But in the evening when we returned he was standing right in front of me about 22 meters away from me. "We sent the deer's horns for measurement, and when we got the results - I was surprised."
The initial measurement of the size of all the horns on all their branches showed that their total area was 719 cm and their circumference was 19 cm.
However, the rule regarding measuring elk horns requires waiting 60 days for the horns to dry out, and their final length is finally set at 688 inches.
This is a new world record in hunting for women.
The previous female record was set in 1997 by hunter Jamie Remers, and the size of the deer's antlers was 653 inches.
Kurt Wort, the talented hunter's father: "I'm not surprised by my daughter's achievement. She received her hunting license at the age of 11, and since then she has been shooting deer every year and each time manages to hunt a larger deer. "For us, the main thing is not the hunt itself, but the shared family pastime," he said.
