The school principal's collar bursts: Every morning, “mom taxis” cause traffic chaos in front of the elementary school in the park complex in Oberschleißheim.
The community hopes to defuse the situation with short-term parking.

"Those who cause the situation have won," says Helga Keller-Zenth.
"It would certainly not be bad for the health of the children to walk a few meters in the morning." Vice-parliamentary leader Ingrid Lindbüchl suspects that the end of the flagpole has not even been reached.
The idea that mums prefer to chauffeur their offspring up the stairs to the classroom is "educationally scary" for her.
Conversations with parents did not help
She interprets the letter from Rector Heike Frenzel as a cry for help.
The school principal had turned to parents innumerable times on various occasions in vain.
“Didn't use anything,” recapitulates Lindbüchl.
In letters to parents, in the parents 'council, at parents' evenings: Time and again, Frenzel tried to point out the potential dangers associated with the morning chaos.

Last school year she even positioned the caretaker in front of the school's entrance gate.
But the mums did not let him speak.
"He was called stupid".
The measure met with little understanding.
"There it goes haywire", says Mayor Markus Böck (CSU).
The municipality sets up short-term parking spaces
There is no lack of suitable parking spaces, such as the public car park.
However, walking a few meters is “not an option for this group of people,” says the town hall.
Knowing that neither the police nor the municipal traffic monitoring system had sufficient capacity, the municipality decided to designate several short-term parking spaces for 15 minutes each in the vicinity of the school in order to defuse the situation.
Ingrid Lindbüchl had previously made the effort to google “Mama-Taxi” and came across a phenomenon that caused one or the other outcry nationwide.
Schools are parked everywhere and traffic in adjacent streets is hindered.
In her need, Rector Frenzel asked the community to take countermeasures.
A stopping ban was immediately fined.
“Maybe that hits the nerve of some parents.” At the same time, she would want to tackle the matter pedagogically, motivating students to walk to school.
In any case, Stefan Vohburger (FW) has to think of the parable of the toothless tiger: Short-term Parkers do not solve the problem, warned the group spokesman.
