The Syrian Trust for Development completed the basic phase of distributing financial donations in Lattakia Governorate, by distributing 6 billion, 215 million and 498 thousand Syrian pounds.
In a statement that SANA received a copy of, the secretariat explained that the distribution continued for 13 days and included 15,881 “fire-affected” people in 231 villages, noting that there will be a subsequent restorative phase to distribute donations in Lattakia after the arrival of the final annexes of the names of those affected by the competent committee.
The Syrian Trust for Development has allocated an amount of 8 billion Syrian pounds from the financial donations that all Syrians have contributed to during the past weeks that followed the wave of fires to compensate those affected. The first payment of compensation provided by the government to those affected this year 2020.
