Tonight (Sunday), Health Minister Yuli Edelstein criticized the Education Committee's decision to continue its studies as usual during the closure, also in grades 5-10.

In a statement issued by Edelstein upon entering the quarantine, he said that "the quarantine requires personal responsibility from each and every one of us, but unfortunately not everyone acts responsibly.

However, the Minister of Health noted that "I trust you, the citizens of Israel. If we all act responsibly, we will see the great light at the end of the plague."

In addition, Edelstein said: "I saw the vaccination campaign in Hillel Yaffe, the dedicated people who vaccinate those who come to them. This campaign continues all over the country. Thanks to the great efforts of the brothers and sisters, we are in the first place in the world in the vaccination campaign."

Earlier, Corona Commissioner Prof. Nachman Ash spoke at a public briefing.
