German railway

New Year's Eve
, enough of
mask muffles
and wants to reach through tough final.
Specifically: According to the railway ordinance, an exclusion from transport "can be pronounced preventively in the event of imminent danger," said a railway spokesman for
Welt am Sonntag
(behind a payment barrier).
And that's not all: If a passenger continues to
refuse
to wear
a
face
mask
on a regional train, an
IC
or an
ICE
despite being excluded from transport
, the
federal police will be called
and a
criminal complaint for trespassing will be issued
.

This is a significant tightening of the sanctions for
those who do not wear a mask

To put it into perspective: So far, passengers who are
found on trains
without
mouth and nose protection have been
threatened with
being kicked out of the train once at the next station and fined by the health authorities responsible in the respective federal state.
While passing
German Railways
claims to believe that 99 percent of their customers to the existing
mask mandatory
hold.
But: As Die

between September 12 and December 7, almost
200,000 people without a mask were found in trains and stations
