The Ministry of Information launched a special screening of the feature film "Last of Life" at Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts, which sheds light on the heroics of the Syrian Arab Army and what the Syrian media professionals have been exposed to during their documentation of the army's heroics and exposing the criminality of terrorism.

The film is written by Samer Muhammad Ismail, directed by Basil Al-Khatib, and produced by the TV Production Directorate at the Public Authority for Radio and Television, with the participation of a group of Syrian actors.

The special presentation was attended by Prime Minister Hussein Arnous, a member of the party’s central leadership, Mahdi Dakhlallah, head of the Preparation, Culture and Information Office, a number of ministers, members of the People's Assembly, directors of media institutions, and a crowd of media professionals and artists.

In his speech, Minister of Information Imad Sarah said that the film could be dropped on every war journalist who accompanied the Syrian Arab Army and was with him step by step in the field chasing terrorism from one place to another, and this is what its title meant for the end of life.

The Minister of Information added: The film embodies the heroics of the Syrian Arab Army, in addition to the sacrifices of the martyrs and the wounded in the Syrian national media during the years of the war on Syria, who numbered forty martyrs and sixty wounded.

The director of the film, Al-Khatib, said in a statement to SANA: The film carries a special characteristic of all the films that it has made in recent years, as it presents the sacrifices of the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army with the sacrifices of the Syrian media, indicating that the film includes painful situations to other joyful aspects, wishing that the film gave these heroes their right because they They gave their lives for the sake of truth and defending the homeland.

In turn, the writer Ismail explained that the film is an attempt to document the efforts of dozens of Syrian media professionals, especially the warriors, indicating that it started from the event of the kidnapping of a female journalist to highlight multiple and varied human stories while approaching the cinematic narration from the reality of media professionals and journalists, wishing that the film would satisfy the media and the public.

On her part, the artist Rana Shamis, who embodied the role of the kidnapped media in the film, pointed out that there are many moments that a person goes through and he cannot do them justice with words, regardless of the richness of the dictionary of life experience, indicating that the film was difficult and contained moments of a deep human feeling, which prompted all the work staff to be Extremely eager to honestly convey reality.

The film co-starred: Wael Ramadan, Aref al-Tawil, Zainati Qudsaya, Ibrahim Issa, Taraf al-Taqi, Basil Haidar, Cesar al-Qadi, Muhammad Hassan, and other artists.
