The police have been investigating for about a month a suspicion of committing indecent acts while taking advantage of the authority of a basketball coach in the boys, whom he coached as part of a basketball club in Be'er Sheva.
The coach, a 40-year-old Be'er Sheva resident, allegedly committed indecent acts on several boys, after apparently promising them integration and promotion in the team.
A boy who was hurt by his actions a few years ago filed a complaint with the police.
There is a suspicion that the acts also took place recently.
The suspect was released at the end of his first interrogation under restrictive conditions.
The investigation team at the Be'er Sheva police station continued its work.
With the addition of new suspicions regarding his actions, the suspect was detained for questioning today (Monday), and at the end it was decided to arrest him.
The man will be brought before the Magistrate's Court in Be'er Sheva tomorrow.
Police appealed to the public: "Anyone who has a fear that his children have been harmed by an act in the circumstances described, is asked to go to the police station closest to his place of residence and report it."
