The count of the number of new contaminations remains largely underestimated because of the Christmas truce. The number of hospitalizations is on the rise again with a total of 24,678 patients.

Health authorities indicate this Monday, December 28 that 2,960 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.

The test positivity rate is 2.8%.

These figures are particularly low due to the Christmas truce and the closure of laboratories on weekends.

364 people have died in hospital since yesterday according to the daily count.
