The suspect involved in the murder of Esther Horgan, moments after his arrest
The body of 52-year-old Horgan was found on Monday in the forest near her home in the Tal Menashe settlement with severe signs of violence, including signs of an attack on her head.
The defense establishment suspects that the suspect ambushed to kill near the settlement, and then hit her on the head as she passed by.
She was declared missing on Sunday after her family announced she had gone for a run at noon and did not return.
Police forces and rescue unit volunteers began searching for her during the night, until she was found at night.
Security forces have since conducted a manhunt for the murder suspects and are investigating whether the act was carried out against a nationalist background.
