Today, Belgium witnessed the launch of vaccination campaigns against the Corona virus in various parts of the country in three nursing homes with indicators indicating a 15 percent decrease in infection cases during the past week, in addition to a decrease in the number of deaths and patients in hospitals, as the Belgian health authorities announced receiving the first batch of 9750 doses of the vaccine developed by Pfizer to include 5,000 people, considering that one person needs two doses, with a difference of 21 days.

According to medical sources, the vaccine campaigns will be officially launched in Belgium on the fifth of January next year to include health care workers, to extend at a later stage to those over the age of 65, and the goal is to cover more than 60 percent of the number of citizens by the end of next year. .
