The man who was found charred in Angers on Monday morning would have committed suicide by fire, the prosecution said on Tuesday, December 29.

Following the autopsy, there is nothing in the state to question the intervention of a third party in this death, the main focus of the investigation remains suicide,

The victim is a 60-year-old retiree, living in Angers.
Monday, around 8:30 am, a woman walking her dog saw flames on a body in a wooded area behind a shopping center.
A gasoline jerrycan was found near the body.
