INTERVIEW - The author of the novel Le Discours, recently adapted for cinema by Laurent Tirard, does not understand why the government has ostracized the cultural sector in such an arbitrary manner.


At 47, Fabrice Caro, alias Fabcaro, seems to have absurd humor pegged to his body.

Zaï Zaï Zaï Zaï

scrutinizes the small crosses of the couple and our daily life.

With his second novel,

Le Discours

(published in 2017 by Gallimard), the author has hit the jackpot.

Director Laurent Tirard (

Le Petit Nicolas

) has adapted his text by turning it into an irresistible romantic comedy, which still has no release date.

Fabrice Caro looks back on his work, and on the sad period experienced by the cultural community since the outbreak of the pandemic.

I pity all the people of the performing arts, the cinema, the theater, the music.
