New injuries and deaths in Corona in Germany and South Korea

Today, Germany recorded a new increase in the number of infections and deaths due to the Corona virus, which reached 12,892 cases and 850 deaths.

Reuters quoted the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases in Germany as saying that the total number of injuries rose to one million and 664,726, while the number of deaths reached 30,978.

In addition, South Korea recorded a record number of deaths resulting from the virus by 40 cases, bringing the total number to 859, while the number of daily infections increased by 1046, bringing the total number to 58,725 cases.

South Korean health authorities are trying to contain the third wave of HIV infection in nursing homes and a prison in the capital, Seoul, while the country has signed an agreement with the American company Moderna to obtain doses of an anti-vaccine sufficient for 20 million people.

In Thailand, the Ministry of Health recorded 155 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of infections to 6,440, while the number of deaths reached 61.

In a related context, a study conducted by the London School of Health revealed that Britain should vaccinate two million people per week to avoid a third wave of the outbreak of the Corona virus.

According to the study published by Reuters, "the only scenario to reduce the burden in intensive care units at peak time to below the levels of the first wave is the application of fourth-level rules throughout England, the closure of schools during next January and the vaccination of two million people per week."

The study warned that in the absence of a concrete launch of the vaccine, the injuries, the number of people entering hospitals and intensive care units, and the deaths in 2021 will exceed those of this year.

Britain had recorded more than 2.3 million cases of Coronavirus as of yesterday evening, while the number of deaths due to the disease exceeded 72 thousand.

And British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and British scientists had warned that the new strain of Corona may be more infectious by up to 70 percent and spread rapidly in Britain, ruling out that this strain is more deadly or causes more serious diseases.
