Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune appeared on public television on Tuesday, December 29, returning to his country after a two-month stay in Germany where he was treated for Covid-19.

It is difficult to be far from his country,
" said the head of state, whose images were broadcast on the 8 pm TV news.
The presidential plane had left Berlin in the middle of the afternoon to land in Algiers around 6 p.m. local.
