Battle for Corona Grants:

The U.S. House of Representatives, controlled by the Democratic Party, approved tonight (Monday through Tuesday) to increase the amount of aid payments to citizens, in the form of checks from the administration, from $ 600 to $ 2,000 per person.

This is a proposal that President Trump pushed for last week, and even threatened to cancel the huge aid package that has already been approved by Congress.

The current move to increase the grant approved by the lower house of the US Congress, and now put to a vote in the Republican-controlled Senate, passed by a large majority of 275 supporters and 134 opponents.

The vote to raise the height of Corona grants went through a large Democratic majority, which tried to take advantage of the rift between President Trump and his party, and thanks to several dozen Republican lawmakers who supported as well.

I simply want to get our great people $ 2000, rather than the measly $ 600 that is now in the bill.

Also, stop the billions of dollars in “pork”.

The current move, which actually more than triples the original amount set at $ 600, is now expected to move to a vote in the Senate, where Republicans disagree on the issue due to their firm stance that increased government spending should be avoided.

At this point and due to the opposing positions between the president and his party members, the future of the proposal in the Senate is unclear.

It should be noted that despite the threats made by President Trump, especially on Twitter, the increase in the amount of grants comes 24 hours after Trump finally signed the $ 2.3 trillion funding bill, which is intended to make it easier for the country's citizens during the corona period.
