This week, the Yad2 website published its annual summary for 2020 in the real estate industry. The data shows a fascinating and different trend compared to previous years - mainly due to the corona crisis. So what did we have this year? Attached is the full review of the Yad2 website.

Yavin Gilmore, CEO of Yad2: "Since the end of the first closure in May, the activity of buyers and sellers has accelerated.

This is reflected in the fact that the demand or the number of surfers who searched for a property on the site increased significantly compared to 2019, and of course in the high number of transactions recorded in the second half of the year.

Since August, the volume of transactions made by investors has reached an annual high of about 18%.

In the current demand environment and low interest rates, it is unlikely that we will see a drop in prices. "

Gilmore points out that the fact that the real estate market has successfully overcome the crisis is a positive point for the Israeli economy. "A market that is stagnant and one that is recording significant price declines is a strong indication of a recession and damage to the economy," he noted.
