Frightened, the slave Ayşe stands in front of Sultan Süleyman, hardly daring to look him in the eye.
She was chosen from among several women from the harem to keep the ruler of the Ottoman Empire company.
The reason for being invited to the Sultan's bedchamber is obvious; the actual sex scene is not shown.
Instead, the viewer sees how Süleyman sends his still undressed slave out of the room after the act.
The scene comes from the Turkish series »Muhteşem Yüzyil« (German: the magnificent century).
It has been sold in more than 60 countries around the world and seen by around 200 million people.
It is not known how intensively Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan followed the program.
However, he should have seen at least some scenes.
And he probably didn't like them.
In January 2011 the first episode of the series ran on Turkish television.
From then on, Wednesday evening was scheduled in many households in the country.
Always from 8 p.m. a new episode of the program was shown, dealing with the life of the Ottoman Sultan Suleyman the Magnificent.
The makers of the production didn't just make friends.
