Giant deal between US and Saudi Arabia:
According to a report on The Hill website, the Trump administration has approved the sale of 3,000 airborne ground-level bombs to the Saudis, valued at $ 290 million. Of $ 478 million.
It was also announced that the announcement made to Congress yesterday (Tuesday) stated the details of the deal, under which Saudi Arabia will purchase the SBD1 bombs, which are used for surgical injury.
The bombs could be used by Saudi Arabia in its war against the pro-Iranian Houthi rebels in Yemen, thereby reducing civilian casualties caused by the use of non-expert weapons. The bombings could also give the Saudi air force an advantage over Iran's air defense systems in the event of a conflict in the Persian Gulf.
