A Christmas tree placed near the Catholic Church in Sakhnin was set on fire once again Wednesday night, and was partially burned.
The arson of the tree tonight comes after it was also set on fire over the weekend.
Police have opened an investigation into the incident, on suspicion of arson.
Following the previous arson, church spokesman Wadia Abu Nassar called on security forces to act to locate the lighters.
"I call on the security services to act on these incidents as terrorist incidents and make every effort to reach the suspects and prosecute them as soon as possible," he said.
According to him, it is possible that these are ISIS operatives.

The chairman of the joint list, MK Ayman Odeh, strongly condemned the act and called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.
"Burning Christmas trees is a heinous act that attacks the spirit of Christmas and the spirit of unity and mutual guarantee of Arab society," he wrote on his Twitter account.
"Our solidarity is stronger than anyone who tries to harm it, we will rehabilitate the trees and make sure the criminals are prosecuted."
In the Arab city of Sakhnin lives a small Christian minority, and a Muslim majority.
