Uri Goldberg and Aryeh Haim Bracha, two protesters against the prime minister in Balfour, were charged with serious violent offenses.

On July 14 this year, they attacked policeman Itamar Ohayon of the Jerusalem Police.

Following the incident, he sought medical treatment with a fracture in his leg, which caused a stir at the time.

Bracha is also involved in attacking a News 13 camera crew at the same demonstration.

According to the indictment filed by the Jerusalem District Attorney's Office, the police force operating at the scene tried to disperse protesters who blocked the light rail route.

Goldberg threw chairs of businesses and cans at police officers and at a police station (a police vehicle for dispersing demonstrations). Ohayon stood among the protesters in civilian clothes, identified himself to the defendant and informed him that he was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

Later, when Ohayon tried to arrest another man, Goldberg approached him along with others and pulled him back to interrupt him and prevent him from making that man's arrest.

Ohayon turned to Goldberg and ordered him to calm down and not oppose his arrest.

"Beat the policeman and spit on him"

At this point Goldberg went berserk and fought Ohayon, hitting him in the abdomen and testicles, calling on other protesters to release him from the hands of the policeman, saying, "Stop me, help me."

The policeman confined the demonstrator to the chair of one of the local businesses.

About ten other protesters, including Bracha, gathered around them and tried to free Goldberg from Ohayon's grip.

They beat the policeman, shouted at him, cursed at him, spat at him and poured water on his head.

Bracha grabbed Ohayon's neck from behind and pulled him.

He knew it was a cop.

According to the indictment, "The police officer's attack continued until two passers-by who noticed that the policeman was being attacked, came to his aid and forcibly removed the demonstrators. At this point the policeman rose from his chair, continuing to hold the demonstrator, "The policeman broke his ankle."

During the same demonstration, News 13's camera crew was attacked by various demonstrators.

One of them is Bracha, who approached the photographer, pushed the camera he was holding in his hand and caused damage to it.

Goldberg is accused of participating in the disturbances, attempting to assault a police officer in aggravated circumstances and assaulting a police officer in aggravated circumstances.

Bracha is also charged with the last offense, alongside a section of malicious damage.
