Zahir Al-Attal, Director General of the Cotton General Organization, revealed that the marketing of the beloved cotton for the current season has ended, as the marketed quantities amounted to 14 thousand tons of the beloved cotton in the receiving centers in various governorates, 11 thousand tons of which were milled in the Al-Asi and Al-Salamiyah factories in Hama governorate and Al-Walid Hall in Homs and Tishreen mill. Al-Attal explained in a statement to SANA Economic Bulletin that the marketing process continues until the middle of next month, in addition to shipping 5,000 tons of industrial seeds to public oil companies only, indicating that private oil companies have been allowed to ship industrial seeds from the governorates of Al-Hasakah and Deir Al-Zour in exchange for a financial commission for the corporation.

Al-Attal pointed out that the quantities of the cotton received from farmers were distributed over the governorates of Deir Ezzor by more than 9,500 tons, and from the liberated areas in Raqqa governorate with about 2,200 tons, then Aleppo by about 1,400 tons, so Hama with more than 350 tons, pointing out that electrical and mechanical maintenance work will be carried out in the working ginners after the end The ginning process is in addition to equipping the Umayyad and Sharq mill and the third hall in Tishreen mill in Aleppo governorate in preparation for the next season

Regarding the payments of the production value to the farmers, Al-Attal confirmed that the corporation has paid the full value of 10 billion Syrian pounds to the farmers who marketed their production to the corporation, as the amounts due to them were transferred as soon as the purchase invoices arrived.
