Liu Kang, a former member of the "Student Dongyuan" who is wanted by the police for violating the "Hong Kong National Security Act" and is now in the UK, posted on Facebook today (30th) that his bank account in China has been terminated, and his account has about 50 Hong Kong dollars, questioned the Hong Kong government's "infringement of Hong Kong people's private property."
Liu Kang said that the incident damaged the reputation of Hong Kong’s financial center and made Hong Kong’s private property unprotected. He also pointed out that property violations due to free expression of political opinions were "not tolerated."
He called on countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union, to impose sanctions on the Bank of China and other banks controlled by Beijing.
After the implementation of the "Hong Kong National Security Act", Liu Kang went to the UK to seek political asylum at the end of July this year. He was assisted by the "Wind-Out Post" established by Zheng Wenjie and supported by the British government.
