Moosinning

- No citizens' meeting in the Corona year also means in the Moosinning community that the traditional honors could not take place.

It has long been clear which citizens should be honored for successful school and training qualifications, for services in voluntary work and in the social field, as well as for success in sport.

You have to be patient until there is a subsequent opportunity to honor.

The following should have been awarded for the best school qualifications: Emanuel Graßl from Eichenried (secondary school, grade 1.33) and the Moosinninger Philip Scheipl (secondary school, 1.67), Annalena Bauer (technical college entrance qualification, 1.70) and Nina Döllel (general university entrance qualification, 1st grade) , 70).

Lena Kürschner from Moosinning completed her apprenticeship as a clerk for office management with a grade of 1.1, and Stanley Odahiekwu from Moosinning came third best in Bavaria in her floor layer apprenticeship.

Monika Dollak has been a youth leader at the Musikverein Moosinning for 25 years and Peter Huber has been chairman for 20 years.

Anton Pfanzelt has been in active service with the Eichenried fire department for 40 years.

Johann Erl, Ludwig Weinfurtner and Sebastian Wutz have been working for the Moosinning fire brigade for just as long.

The community pays special tribute to the social commitment of two men: Torsten Grahl redeemed 6000 euros for the parents' initiative “Children with cancer in Munich” at the first Eichenried benefit concert.

And songwriter Andi Starek from Eichenried and his children's rock band Schlawindl make music for and with children with a pedagogical approach, for example against racism, and also supports the Orienthelfer association.

After all, the community is also proud of its successful athletes: swimmer Sander Liebig from Moosinning (two-time Bavarian and three-time Upper Bavarian champion), weightlifters Walter Landshammer from Moosinning (Bavarian champion) and Josef Resch from Eichenried (Bavarian and Upper Bavarian champion) and the team from Mooseisen Eichenried, who was successful in the cast of Petra Borgo, Adolf Dreiseitel and Mario Hieber in several horseshoe tournaments.
