The rate of Coronavirus infections in Russia decreased for the fourth consecutive day to about 26.5 thousand new cases during the past 24 hours.
The special operations room to combat the spread of the coronavirus in Russia stated in its daily report that 26,513 new infections were recorded, compared to 27,002 yesterday, which represents the lowest toll since December 16, when 26,509 cases of infection were recorded.
On the other hand, the death toll from Corona during the past 24 hours in Russia increased by 599 deaths compared to 562 deaths the previous day, while 29,235 patients were cured.
The total number of coronavirus infections recorded in Russia since the start of the pandemic has become three million and 131,550 infections, including 56,426 deaths, two million and 525,418 recoveries.
