In Russia, for example, the numbers seem to be manipulated on a large scale.

is accompanied by daily statistics on infected and fatalities.

, the reported Covid-19 deaths do not seem to match the numbers actually registered.
The deputy head of government and the statistical authority sowed doubts about the official values from the
Kremlin

Vice head of government suddenly reports 115,000 deaths
In order to spread a bit of glamor in these dreary times, some countries don't seem to shy away from
manipulating the statistics
.
The
Turkish health minister Fahrettin Koca
revealed
in autumn that the country on the Bosporus would only
report sick people with symptoms as corona cases
.
Which is clearly equivalent to coloring.
Ankara
seems to be
in good company.
Because Russia, too, is apparently fiddling with the numbers that the whole world is looking at.
At least that can be speculated after
Deputy Prime Minister
Tatiana Golikova
spoke
on state television on the penultimate day of the year of
115,000 deaths in connection with a Sars-CoV2 infection
.
The problem with this: The official government website reports only
56,400 deceased in the wake of the pandemic
.
As a result, the annual balance around the world is hardly surprisingly
attracting attention that was
not thought possible
.

It has long been known that
Moscow
only includes deaths in its statistics for which
Corona was
noted
on the death certificate
.
As things
stand
, this is apparently
not even the case for every second Covid 19 victim
.
Officially, there are only four countries that have exceeded the 100,000 mark in fatal infections:
the United States, Brazil, India and Mexico
.
In Europe, Italy is the sad top with 73,600.

Excess mortality statistics suggest far more deaths
But back to the Kremlin: According to the
state statistics agency Rosstat
,
excess mortality in Russia
between January and November was more than 13 percent.
Of the additional deaths,
81 percent can be attributed to Corona
.
If
these numbers are correct, according to calculations by insiders, in the largest country in the world, which has reported
more than 3.1 million infected
people
, even
more than 186,000 people must have died as a result of a corona infection
.
That would be more than three times as many as is officially communicated.
An extent that
Vladimir Putin could
under no circumstances boast of before the world.
So it is now time to diligently puzzle out what is really behind the
widely divergent Russian numbers
.
In addition, it becomes clear once again that the
corona statistics
that are shown to us every day should be treated with caution.
