Ahead of an indictment:

A prosecutor's statement will be filed today (Thursday) against an 18-year-old man and young woman, who are suspected of severely abusing the home of the young woman, a nine-month-old baby.

The investigation of the case began with the arrival of the toddler at Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva, suffering from severe injuries.

The parents, an eighteen-year-old girl from Be'er Sheva and a young man twenty-one from Netanya, were arrested.

The father was released after interrogation, while it became clear that he was not involved in acts against the girl.

During the interrogation, the girl's current partner, a thirty-seven-year-old resident of Be'er Sheva, was arrested.

His interrogation led to other similar suspicions against him, according to which he also abused his three biological children.

The police came to the conclusion that the toddler had suffered for a long time from his conduct and the mother's conduct towards her.

She arrived with two fractures and bite marks on her body.

The man's explanation for the beatings and signs on the baby's body was that it was a "love bite," and his children's interrogation revealed that he had treated them in a similar way to violence.

More signs of fractures were found in the toddler's body, but the couple denies any connection to the bruises found on the toddler's body.

The investigation material in the matter has been transferred in recent days to the State Attorney's Office to formulate an indictment against the two, who will be brought during the day for a hearing on extending their detention in the Magistrate's Court in Be'er Sheva.
