The civil year-end celebrations tonight (Thursday) are expected to look different this year, in the shadow of the corona plague and congestion restrictions.

The third closure directives unequivocally prohibit private events, however, there are those in Tel Aviv, which was known for its nightlife, even those who refuse to accept the evil of the decree, and the Israel Police and the municipality prepare accordingly to prevent other parties or gatherings.

Police say that tonight increased enforcement is expected to be particularly increased, using a variety of means, including helicopters, skimmers "and any overt / covert means that can help us locate gatherings," as they put it.

"It is important for the public to take personal responsibility. The police cannot be there anytime, anywhere."

Blains who are more than a kilometer from the house are expected to be fined NIS 1,000, while citizens who do not wear a mask are expected to be fined NIS 500.

Businesses that are open in violation of the guidelines may be fined NIS 5,000.

"The Israel Police is preparing with increased forces today for New Year's Eve in order to prevent gatherings in both business and private homes," Lt. Gen. Yair Hanuna, an AGM officer in the Yarkon region, told Walla! NEWS. "And this, he said," also in order to locate the same pirate parties.

"" From here I want to appeal to the public: If you know and know about forbidden gatherings, please call Hotline 100 so we can take care of and protect us all, "added a deputy nerd. "We are putting the emphasis on places we have intelligence about.

" "We are at the end of the corona plague, a little more patience on the part of the public: all we have left is to wait so we can all celebrate the days as their correction," he concluded.

"There will be party parties so the police don't come"

However, not everyone intends to comply with the restrictions.

Y., a DJ from Tel Aviv, told Walla!

NEWS that he is preparing for the event that will take place tonight.

"Today I am invited to record at a private party to be held in an apartment in Tel Aviv," said Y.

He noted that "the event will not be according to the guidelines at all, but it will be a limited event, and we will keep our distance and everyone will be wearing masks."

"I'm not afraid of a fine if the police come, it's the organizers who will have to pay," said Y., who believes that this will not really be the only event that will take place around the city.

"Rumor has it a lot of people are going to have a headphone party so the police don't come."

K., a 24-year-old resident of the city, is also preparing for the party.

"Today I host a small meeting of friends in my apartment. Everyone will arrive on a scooter or on foot - people who live relatively close," said K., who explained that the celebrants "find good excuses for the police if they are stopped on the way."

Compared to the celebrants, other youngsters decided that despite the New Year’s Eve events they would not break the closure, given the fear of the corona spreading.

"I'm not going to any home and pirate party not on Corona's days, not if it's New Year's or if it's just a weekend," says Shira Kudler, 25, from Tel Aviv. "It's not worth it.

I'm scared to death of getting infected.

I have already undergone three long isolations and five corona tests. "The

Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality stated that the municipal security patrol will cooperate with the Israel Police and the forces will be deployed throughout the city, in order to ensure enforcement of all current closure regulations such as events, private parties and gatherings.
