The State Attorney's Office will today (Thursday) file a prosecutor's statement against a resident of Shaklon on suspicion of committing serious sexual offenses against a woman with a disability.
The suspect in the acts managed to lead her to his home after seducing her using a can of drink and there he committed the offenses with her.
The investigation began following a complaint received by the police from the woman's parents, in her 30s, with a disability, according to which on December 17, she was led by a foreign man she did not know to his home, and committed serious sexual offenses with her.
Police investigators who opened the investigation, using technological means, managed to reveal the identity of the suspect, a 34-year-old resident of Ashkelon, and arrest him for questioning on December 20 on suspicion of her husband's offenses and sodomy while exploiting a mental disability.
The police investigation raised the suspicion that the suspect spotted a woman near one of the malls in the city, where he offered to buy her a can of drink and led her to his home, all with the aim of allegedly committing the offenses. Prosecutor's statement, with the aim of filing the indictment in the coming days.
