There were hardly any missions in connection with New Year's Eve between Icking and Königsdorf.
Detonating a garbage can was the worst of it.
Bad Toelz-Wolfratshausen
- The turn of the year in the northern district was relatively calm.
At midnight, the church bells rang in the New Year, accompanied by New Year's Eve rockets from old stocks that rose occasionally into the sky.
As is well known, the sale of fireworks was prohibited this year, plus the curfew between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. (which continues to apply) and a strict ban on gatherings.
"The New Year's Eve in the protected area of the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria South was largely peaceful and calm," said Carolin Englert, spokeswoman for the Presidium.
According to their own statements, the Wolfratshauser police did not record any operation related to the turn of the year.
In Geretsried, a previously unknown perpetrator threw one or more firecrackers into a trash can at the parking lot of the ice rink.
It was completely destroyed by the detonation.
Unlike in previous years, the employees of the building yards had an easy time of it, due to the ban on firecrackers, there was almost no garbage on the streets and sidewalks.
