In a world that is constantly changing, journalism is also changing to take on new challenges.
In the 1960s, Tom Wolfe, Truman Capote, and Norman Mailer shaped
a revolution called New Journalism.
But, among the many approaches that took place within the art of telling the news, no one had spoken of "crazy journalism" until now.
This novel category was brought to light
, in the last hours of 2020, by the verbose Alberto Fernández.
"There is a crazy journalism that needs therapists to get rid of the hatred that they carry
,
"
illustrated the President, intense and talkative like few of his predecessors.
And he was not speaking at a university or on the platform of a well-thinking NGO.
He did it before the microphones of one of the related media, which are never going to bother him and which
are dedicated to punishing any journalist who does not sing the verses of the official song
.
A practice that Kirchnerism of a decade ago exercised from the state media.
Now they don't even need them.
The problem with crazy journalism that needs therapists is that it
insists on comparing
today's words with those the President spoke just two or three years ago.
Alberto expressed his doubts better than anyone, for example, about the causes of the death of prosecutor Alberto Nisman, the one who was investigating Cristina for the suspicious Pact with Iran and
was found dead
two days before testifying in Congress.
"To this day, I doubt that he has committed suicide,"
said Alberto for the immortality of the documentary that the British Justin Webster made for the Netflix platform.
That was a free Fernández, nonconformist and questioner
of power.
Very different from the docile Fernández who now told the official radio.
"I am convinced that it was a suicide,
after doubting it a lot, huh? I'm not going to lie ...", this Cartesian Alberto and champion of methodical doubt was honest.
The problem, of course, is the crazy journalism that
insists on comparing the changes in the presidential speech.
Nothing that a good therapist cannot solve.
The problem is that the therapist of the crazy journalists is going to have too much work.
In addition to Alberto's contradictions with Nisman's death, it should remove
many more uncomfortable doubts.
There are those crazy people riveting with the cut in pensions, which Alberto took off from inflation to be able to adjust them.
And the thorough and reassuring review that ANMAT never did on Russian vaccines.
And the conviction for fraud against the State on Amado Boudou, confirmed by 14 judicial instances, that crazy journalism remembers time and again for its badly cured hatred.
Therapists, to things.
It's that crazy journalists have
dark and destabilizing obsessions.
One of them, the renowned madman Nicolás Wiñazki, even tried to go to dinner with his family at the Graf Zeppelin pizzeria located in the heart of Ciudad Jardín.
Fortunately, and thanks to those enlightening definitions like those of the President, the restaurant owner had his
fascist dwarf
awake
and individualized him and threw him immediately in front of his wife, his in-laws and his daughters.
Sometimes you don't even need to go to therapists.
2021 is just beginning and it will not be easy for the Argentines or for the President.
It has to
do something more effective
than the little it has done so far to tackle the pandemic, end the recession and roll back poverty.
Cristina takes care
of the failures in the cabinet, as she was warned by letter and later on stage
.
And as for the crazy journalism, Alberto knows well that he has
hundreds of obsequents
to help with the therapeutic reeducation of those who never learn to value the advantages of the single discourse.
