Neufinsing / Eichenried

- The variety of tasks and the great results, which are ultimately visible again and again, are the factors for Jonas Bretschneider that convinced him to complete an apprenticeship as a painter.

The trainee at the Waldinger company in Neufinsingen is also busy promoting the craft - alongside professional athletes from the FC Bayern junior basketball team.

The Chamber of Crafts and FC Bayern have come together under the motto “Mia san future”.

This is intended to show the diverse training opportunities in the craft.

In addition, FC Bayern Munich is hoping for players for its youth program.

Eichenrieder Jonas Bretschneider, who is completing a painter training course in Neufinsing, is able to present one of the numerous job profiles in the craft sector.

On many posters you can currently see how the 17-year-old - on behalf of all painting trainees at the Chamber of Crafts in Munich and Upper Bavaria - casually tosses a paint roller into the air next to an FC Bayern junior basketball player.

Impressed with the stadium

“My boss spoke to me on the spur of the moment whether I could step in for another trainee who unfortunately had to cancel at short notice.

I was amazed, but found the idea pretty cool, ”recalls Eichenrieder.

Bretschneider would not call himself a basketball fan.

Nevertheless, the stadium was particularly impressive.

“The moment I entered it was the coolest moment for me,” he recalls.

His nervousness then subsided relatively quickly.

“The nice greeting and the nice staff,” he reveals.

Bretschneider is proud to be able to advertise his profession.

“I do that because a lot of people do not appreciate this exciting job, even though it is one of the nicest jobs that one can learn,” he explains and adds: “Young people should choose this job because you can acquire many techniques that are in private life are very useful. "

The 17-year-old Bretschneider is currently in his third year of training.

His company is proud of the trainee.

The joy was great "when the Chamber of Crafts knocked for support," explains Maria Waldinger, who describes the campaign as "successful".
