Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez expressed his rejection of the new coercive measure imposed by the US State Department against the Cuban International Bank, which aims to tighten the blockade imposed on Cuba.
Rodriguez said in a tweet on Twitter today that the blacklisting of Cuban entities aims to reinforce the economic blockade that has not been able to defeat the Cuban revolution 62 years ago.
The US State Department revealed, through its Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, new sanctions against Cuba, including the inclusion of the Cuban International Financial Bank in a so-called "blacklist" of Cuban companies that the Americans are prevented from dealing with.
Earlier, Rodriguez denounced the US attempts to include his country in the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
