Homs firefighters extinguished this evening a fire that broke out with oil waste near Al-Zarzouriya village, west of Homs.
Brigadier General Ghayath Aqil, Director of the Civil Defense Branch in Homs, stated in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the branch's operations room had received a report about a fire near the village of Zarzuriyah, west of the city of Homs and to the north of the refinery, where the Homs Fire Brigade and the Homs Refinery extinguishing and members of the Civil Defense Branch went to the place immediately and worked to extinguish the fire. And cool it to prevent it from spreading.
Aqil indicated that the fire did not lead to any casualties.
