The Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev affirmed that American interests are increasingly in conflict with the interests of mankind, pointing out that Washington has reaffirmed its role as an "anti-social player" by voting against approving the UN budget.
Russia Today quoted Kosachev as saying: “The United States once again affirmed its characterization as a non-social player by opposing the United Nations budget approved by member states yesterday, adding that“ the United States, where the anti-racism protests did not subside, refused to support the budget to prevent funding of the World Conference to Combat Racism Racial discrimination, xenophobia and intolerance ”.
The administration of the outgoing US President Donald Trump voted against the United Nations budget for the current year in a new confirmation of its flagrant bias towards the Israeli occupation entity after its refusal to include funding to commemorate an international conference to combat racism in South Africa, but its move did not receive broad international support.
