Rains and floods: orange alert in the South-West

Our partner The weather channel * kept three departments in the South-West on an orange alert for rain and flooding on Friday January 1.

Here is the forecast from The Weather Channel:

The lull is confirmed on January 1 in terms of precipitation if we except a few showers without consequences in the afternoon in the southern part of Aquitaine.

The floods will continue until the weekend in the downstream part of the watersheds (Adour, Midouze in particular).

The flood peak on the downstream part of the Adour and Midouze is expected this Friday before a general decline for the weekend.
