In the presidential privacy they consider December

29 and 30

as the most important days of Alberto Fernández's administration.

In less than 24 hours,

the coronavirus

vaccination campaign

began

;

Deputies sanctioned

the pension calculation reform

in a tight way and against some forecasts

and the Senate made

legal abortion law

.

The officials closest to the President consider that, despite the rise in infections, the Government ended the year in the best way.

Enthusiasm possessed the head of state who celebrated with his ministers with his

own 20 truths

.

On Wednesday, first thing in the morning, the president shared a

chat

with the

WhatsApp Cabinet group made up of

all the ministers and some of his closest collaborators.

"Read carefully what follows.

These are OUR TWENTY TRUTHS",

 is the heading of the lengthy message.

"He wrote it and sent it," said one of the president's most trusted officials.

Fernández, as highlighted in his environment, usually writes his own speeches with the collaboration of the advisor, in charge of the Argentina 2030 program,

Alejandro Grimson,

 and the Secretary for Strategic Affairs,

Gustavo Beliz

The President thus inexorably alluded to the

20 Peronist truths

, which

Juan Domingo Perón

pronounced on October 17, 1950. It was to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the popular mobilization that forced the government of

Edelmiro Farrell

to release the former Secretary of Labor and vice-president, the date that gave birth to the Justicialista movement.

Fernández, who on March 21 could become the

new president of the Peronist party

at the national level, appealed more to emotion than to party liturgy.

“We ended the most difficult year in our memories with

very important achievements

.

But they were not the only ones.

Realize what we did in a world in which everything known became insufficient.

Congratulations to everyone.

We did it, "concluded Fernández at the end of his message.

Strong praise for a cabinet questioned by his vice.

The head of state recalled some of the most outstanding points and cited the chat in question, during the

meeting in Olivos

with

Sergio Massa

,

Máximo Kirchner

and more than 60 deputies from the ruling bloc in Congress.

Fernández made a review of the

social management

of his Government, which included some

invoice passes to the previous administration

.

He underlined the implementation of the food card;

the increases for retirees -which, strictly speaking, and despite what they say in the Government, were below inflation and were clearly lower than those corresponding to suspended mobility-;

for AUH beneficiaries;

ATPs;

the IFE and the enhancement of the health system in the midst of a pandemic, which he said "had been beaten."

In

economic matters

, he celebrated the

restructuring of the debt with

private

bondholders

and the multiplication of zero-rate loans for SMEs and the middle class.

Despite the fall of 3.6 million jobs in the second quarter due to the pandemic and the quarantine, Fernández highlighted the imposition of double severance pay to discourage layoffs.

He also defended the new moratorium law.

Among the battery of measures that benefited the middle sectors, he also mentioned the rate freeze and the declaration of the Internet and mobile telephony as essential services, measures that part of the industry in the sector resists.

Meanwhile, in the

institutional area, he

defended sending the judicial reform to Congress;

the treatment of the new law of public ministry and the reforms in the Council of the Magistracy.

So far,

the three projects are bogged down

in the Legislative Palace and the Government is preparing to push them in 2021.

The last two points of the President's truths explain the

state of mind

that reigns in recent days in La Rosada, thanks to the beginning of vaccination and the legalization of abortion.

"Given the widespread disbelief, we began in December the vaccination process against COVID 19, which will be the largest in our history," he says.

Finally, he referred to the

sanction of legal abortion

.

“Against those who said 'this is not the time' we declare abortion safe, legal and free.

This is how we made a better society, expanding women's rights and preserving their public health ”, celebrated Fernández.
