In contrast to the neighboring community of Gröbenzell, the Christmas tree collection campaign of the boy scouts is taking place in Puchheim despite Corona.
The date is Saturday, January 9th.
Puchheim - This time the campaign does not proceed as usual: The doorbell does not ring.
Instead, all decorated trees that are clearly visible on the property line from 8 a.m. on private property are taken with them.
It should be noted that public traffic areas should not be obstructed.
The trees should only be put there shortly before collection.
All tree decorations must be removed.
No cash donations
You can't tie cash donations to the branches this year either.
The money should be transferred.
The proceeds from the collection go to charity.
Half goes to the youth work of the boy scouts in Puchheim, the other half goes to the Gröbenzell crisis intervention team.
Since a short-term cancellation is possible, you are asked to inquire shortly beforehand about the posters of the boy scouts or at www.dpsgpuchheim.de.
Hand in at the recycling center
Another option: the Christmas trees can be handed in at the large recycling center on Dieselstrasse during normal opening times.
Opening times: Monday, 1.30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday, 1.30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 1.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
