The corona virus continues to affect the old people's and nursing homes in the district.
But it is also vaccinated intensively.
Erding - On Saturday, the district office announced that 14 residents and six employees had tested positive in the Schröding nursing home and community center.
In the Wartenberg Clinic there are 16 infected patients and five employees.
The health department tries to find out the cause and takes protective measures.
The placement of specialist staff to support the clinic in Wartenberg is ongoing, reports District Office Spokeswoman Claudia Fiebrandt-Kirmeyer.
Since December 30, 72 new cases have become known across the district, the infected are between three and 96 years old.
The seven-day incidence decreased from 161.4 to 159.2.
The number of people recovered rose by 37 to 3585. 642 citizens are currently infected, 36 more than on Wednesday.
4267 people have been infected with Corona since March, 40 have not survived Covid-19, 29 of them in the second wave since November.
The BRK Erding has carried out 529 vaccinations since Wednesday.
690 citizens thus have initial protection.
"The number of people vaccinated for the first time clearly exceeds the number of new infections every day," says Fiebrandt-Kirmeyer.
The virus is still being tested intensively.
Since Wednesday there have been 517 new screenings, a total of 32 299 citizens have been swept on Sars-Cov-2 so far.
No numbers were available from the Erding Clinic at the weekend.
