The Home Affairs Department said tonight (2nd) that as of 5 pm, more than 35,000 people requiring mandatory testing have been tested through mobile sampling stations or testing facilities, accounting for nearly 60% of the estimated number of residents in the announcement.

The Home Affairs Department stated that it understands that some citizens will also be tested through other testing channels in the test announcement, and appealed to the citizens concerned to come to the testing center as soon as possible within the mandatory test announcement deadline (ie January 4 or before).
