Following the triple murder in the village of Akeb in East Jerusalem, a large force of the Palestinian Security Service entered the scene tonight (Saturday) to maintain order and prevent the resumption of clashes between the clans.
At the same time, the Jerusalem police opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the murder, which according to Palestinian reports broke out following a clan conflict in the village.
During the incident, shots were fired at the three men.
Two of them, brothers aged 30 and 22, were seriously injured.
Although Kfar Akev is in the municipal area of the Jerusalem municipality, it is located outside the separation fence, which required the evacuations to the Qalandiya crossing in order to join the MDA team that was called to the scene.
MDA personnel who received the report of the wounded from the Red Crescent arrived at the crossing and evacuated the two victims who suffered serious gunshot wounds to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital. At the hospital, they were treated but eventually pronounced dead.
