Today, the Lebanese army arrested three gunmen who killed a Lebanese soldier in Hermel, Bekaa, northeastern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Army Command stated in a statement that "the Army Intelligence arrested the three gunmen on charges of firing yesterday at a car in which two soldiers and another person were traveling, which led to the death of the soldier Bashar Allam and wounding another."
The statement added that "the investigation has begun with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary."
