The Likud secretariat, headed by Finance Minister Israel Katz, is expected to convene tonight (Saturday) to approve the prime minister's proposal to cancel the primaries in the upcoming elections, and to receive six seats for his election on the list.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to appear at the meeting, which will be held in Zoom, and explain the decision not to hold primaries and the temporary order that will repeal the Likud constitution, according to which primaries must be held before any general election. The

main excuse for canceling the primaries is the Korona restrictions and economic difficulties.
